CSYC New York Trip, 2025

Who: Singers (around 100) from across the country under direction of Clell Wright, Director of Choral Activities at Valdosta State University. Colorado Springs Youth Choir singers have been invited to join this renowned ensemble. The performance will feature the New England Symphonic Ensemble and distinguished soloists as part of their 41st anniversary season.

What: We will be singing Mozart’s VESPERAE SOLENNES DE CONFESSORE, K. 339. The trip will include 2 days of in-depth rehearsals with conductor and orchestra. After the concert, there will be a celebration cruise for all participants. 

When: Concert will be Saturday, June 7, 2025, Full residency will include 5 days: June 4-8, 2025. REGISTRATION deadline is October 1, with $300 deposit.

Where:Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, New York City

Cost: est. $1800, includes hotel and transportation to rehearsals and concert. Does not including meals and airfare *fundraising is available
