Join Colorado Springs Youth Choir as we celebrate connection and community. This concert will feature local choirs from across the Pikes Peak region, including Good Treble and Mountainside Elementary. Select members of Choral Song and Colorado Springs Youth Symphony will also perform.
Additionally, we are happy to announce that we will collab with local visual artist Erin Kittelson for this concert. Her work will be featured in our program and will be on display.
2026 Spring Visual Artist:
Erin Kittelson
One of the purposes of CSYC is to bring together all of the arts to inspire and connect community. To do this we aim to highlight and collaborate with one local visual artist during each season
Erin Kittelson is an artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, pattern, and human connection. Through a thoughtful blend of texture, color, and narrative, she creates pieces that invite viewers into intimate, reflective spaces. Her practice is rooted in careful observation and a deep curiosity about the emotional landscapes that shape our lived experiences.
Erin received her bachelor degree from Florida State University in 2023 for Studio Art.
She currently resides in Colorado Springs. egkolio.com
We talk a lot about the Magical Moments that happen in music. It can be in a formal ensemble in a concert with a conductor, around a campfire, or singing in the shower. It can happen with your close friends, strangers in a flashmob, or even alone at the piano.
We believe musicians chase these moments, even if they’re unaware. We might venture to say most people chase these moments, even if they wouldn’t consider themselves “musicians.”
It’s a moment of connection to the universe, some would say to God, some would say to their deeper selves.
We want to cultivate these moments.
