Bridget Calhoun grew up in Orange County, California where she discovered her love for choral singing and directing. As a teenager, she loved how rewarding it was to rehearse and refine music with people who enjoyed singing just as much as she did, and would build community through music. In June of 2023, she received her Bachelor’s in Choral Music Education from the University of Oregon. While attending college, she sang with the UO Chamber Choir for all 4 years, and had the life-changing experience of traveling abroad with them – an experience she hopes to provide for a choir under her direction someday. Two years ago, she was lucky enough to get hired as the Choir Director at Falcon Middle School, as well as earn a spot as a singer in ChoralSong of Colorado Springs. In her free time, she loves hiking, camping, crocheting, thrifting, watching movies, and taking care of plants. Fun fact: She has a whole wall in her apartment dedicated to frog art!
